The AFE is working on fundamentally improving the conditions for artists and creatives. We want to raise awareness, promote altruistic behavior and develop new solutions for funding the arts. We help projects see the light of day in a non-bureaucratic way and support those who want to make projects happen.

Create Meaning
AFE works like an aid organization for culture: We collect donations, win patrons and partners. We are looking for new and innovative ways to make art and culture possible. We offer the opportunity to support projects and the artistic work process directly and unbureaucratically.
What we do
We develop meaningful projects with an interdisciplinary team and support those who want to realize projects or are already in the process of creating. With AFE, we are pursuing three main goals: Firstly, to improve the conditions for art and culture. Second, create new ways of funding. Thirdly, build support during the artistic work process and during project implementation.
We document current projects under “News”. We collect useful links for artists and creatives under “Needful Things”.
The AFE is part of a federation of innovative, new bureaus. The AFE initiates new bureaus for todays and tomorrows challenges.
These new bureaus question the present, research future possibilities, develop projects, connect people and make innovation possible. The new bureaus commit, take responsibility, and offer support.
The new bureaus face new challenges, question bureaucratic processes as well as long-established structures and leave nostalgic baggage behind in order to keep pace with the times.

We are convinced that many people would like to give and make a difference, but simply don't know how to go about it. The unconditional support of art and culture is a contribution to society as a whole and to the freedom of art. AFE connects people with projects which then can be realized with their funds. Together we create socio-cultural values and enable alternative art and culture funding.
